Asparagus and Gruyere Tart

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the puff pastry and place it in a tart pan.

Trim the asparagus and blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes.

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Spread the Gruyere cheese on the bottom of the tart shell.

Arrange the blanched asparagus on top of the cheese.

Pour the egg mixture over the asparagus.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes or until the tart is golden brown and set.
