Apple Strudel

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Peel and slice the apples.

In a bowl, mix the sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.

Melt the butter in a pan and add the breadcrumbs. Cook until golden brown.

Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with melted butter. Repeat with the remaining sheets.

Spread the breadcrumb mixture over the top sheet of phyllo dough.

Spoon the apple mixture onto the breadcrumb layer.

Roll up the strudel, tucking in the sides as you go.

Place the strudel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the top of the strudel with melted butter.

Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.

Let the strudel rest for 10 minutes before serving.
