Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Peel, core, and slice the apples.

In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the sliced apples. Cook until the apples are soft.

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until creamy.

Add the milk, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the egg mixture. Mix well.

Grease a baking dish and pour half of the batter into it.

Arrange the cooked apples on top of the batter.

Pour the remaining batter over the apples.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
