Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together the apples, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon until the apples are coated.

Spread the apple mixture evenly over the crust in the baking dish.

Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top of the apples.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
