Apple & Cheddar Empanadas
Empanadas are a popular dish in many Latin American countries and can be filled with a variety of ingredients, both sweet and savory.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel and dice the apples.

In a bowl, mix the diced apples, cheddar cheese, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour and butter until crumbly.

Gradually add water to the flour mixture until a dough forms.

Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.

Roll out each portion into a circle.

Spoon the apple-cheddar mixture onto one half of each circle.

Fold the other half of the circle over the filling and press the edges to seal.

Place the empanadas on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Allow the empanadas to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
