Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter and brown sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the diced apples, butterscotch chips, and chopped walnuts.

Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
