  1. Cook the macaroni according to the instructions on the package. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, fry the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add the cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Gradually add the grated Gruyere and Emmental cheeses, stirring until melted.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add the cooked macaroni and crispy bacon to the cheese sauce. Stir until well coated.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
