Almonds are not true nuts but are actually seeds of the almond tree. They are highly nutritious and a good source of healthy fats.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and almond extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
