Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until just combined. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.

In another bowl, combine the fruit, brown sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Mix well.

Spoon the fruit mixture over the batter in the baking dish.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the cobbler topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
