Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it reaches 180°F (82°C).

Remove from heat and let it cool to 110°F (43°C).

Stir in the yogurt starter culture.

Cover the saucepan with a lid and wrap it in a towel. Let it rest undisturbed for 4 hours.

Transfer the yogurt to a container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
