In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

Heat the milk and butter in a small saucepan until warm.

Add the warm milk mixture and egg to the dry ingredients.

Stir until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.

Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.

Shape each piece into a roll and place them on a greased baking sheet.

Cover and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
