Winter Apple Pecan Stuffing

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the apples, pecans, dried cranberries, parsley, thyme, and sage. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes and the apple mixture.

Pour the vegetable broth over the bread mixture and season with salt and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

Transfer the stuffing to a greased baking dish.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Let the stuffing rest for 10 minutes before serving.
