  2. Melt the white chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until pale and creamy. Gradually add the melted white chocolate mixture, whisking constantly.
  4. Sift in the flour, almond meal, vanilla extract, and salt. Fold gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the torte cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
