Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, heavy cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.

Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the crust.

Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top of the pie.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set.
