  3. Layer the bottom of a serving dish with vanilla wafers.
  4. Slice the bananas and layer them on top of the wafers.
  5. Pour half of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining wafers, bananas, and pudding.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  8. Before serving, top with whipped cream and additional banana slices if desired.
