Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the flour and ground almonds to the bowl and mix until combined.

Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish to form an even layer.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the verjuice and eggs until well combined.

Pour the verjuice mixture over the baked crust and return to the oven for another 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar.
