  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  6. Place the loaf on a greased baking sheet, cover it again, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  7. Brush the top of the loaf with water and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
