  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into squares.
  3. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square.
  4. Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle and seal the edges.
  5. Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the turnovers with beaten egg.
  7. Sprinkle sugar on top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water and heat until the sugar dissolves.
  10. Brush the glaze over the warm turnovers.
  11. Allow the turnovers to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
