Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Peel and core the apples, then cut them into small cubes.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Cook until the apples are soft and the mixture thickens, stirring occasionally.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into squares.

Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each square.

Fold the squares diagonally to form triangles and seal the edges with a fork.

Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
