  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and ginger.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
