Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the sliced almonds, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips.
  5. Divide the dough in half and shape each half into a log about 12 inches long and 2 inches wide. Place the logs onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the logs are firm to the touch. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  7. Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (165°C). Using a serrated knife, slice the logs into 1-inch thick slices. Place the slices cut-side down on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the biscotti are crisp and dry. Remove from the oven and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  9. Enjoy!
