  2. Cut the bread slices into cubes and place them in a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the raisins, dried cranberries, mixed peel, and brandy. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the milk, heavy cream, and granulated sugar over medium heat until it starts to steam.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
