In a large mixing bowl, crumble the tofu and add bread crumbs, egg, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and salt. Mix well.

Shape the mixture into patties and refrigerate for 10 minutes.

Heat butter in a pan over medium heat and cook the tofu patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.

In a separate small saucepan, heat soy sauce and butter until melted and well combined.
