Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and toffee bits together. Stir until smooth.

In a separate bowl, beat the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Gradually add the melted toffee mixture to the egg mixture, stirring constantly.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the baking dish for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the mascarpone whipped cream by beating the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and heavy cream together until soft peaks form.
