  5. Pour the toffee sauce into the tart tins, then arrange the sliced apples on top.
  6. Bake the tarts in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the apples are soft.
  7. In a separate pan, gently heat the double cream.
  8. Serve the warm tarts with a drizzle of toffee sauce, a spoonful of double cream, and a sprinkle of chopped pecans.
