  1. Crush the Golden OREO cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed cookies, cream cheese, toasted coconut flakes, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and let the cookie balls rest for 30 minutes.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and vegetable shortening together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  6. Take the cookie balls out of the refrigerator and dip each one into the melted white chocolate, using a fork to fully coat them. Place them back on the baking sheet.
  7. Sprinkle some additional toasted coconut flakes on top of each cookie ball.
  8. Return the baking sheet to the refrigerator and let the chocolate set for about 10 minutes.
