Tea tassies are a traditional Scottish dessert that originated from the word ‘tassie’ meaning a small cup or goblet.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, butter, cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and press each portion into the cups of a mini muffin pan.

In a separate bowl, mix together the chopped nuts, raisins, and tea leaves.

Spoon the nut and raisin mixture into each dough cup.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
