  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut the cold butter into small cubes and add it to the flour mixture. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. In a separate bowl, whisk together the Tabasco sauce and milk. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir until just combined. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1 inch. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown. Serve warm.
