Sweet Sugar Rolls
Sugar rolls are a popular breakfast pastry in North America, often enjoyed with a cup of coffee or tea.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well.

In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter until warm. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Stir until a soft dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the dough into a large rectangle. Spread butter evenly over the dough. Combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle it over the butter.

Starting from one long side, roll up the dough tightly. Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal pieces.

Place the rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover with a kitchen towel and let them rise for an additional 30 minutes.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

In a small mixing bowl, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.
