  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter until warm. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle. Spread butter evenly over the dough. Combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle it over the butter.
  7. Starting from one long side, roll up the dough tightly. Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal pieces.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover with a kitchen towel and let them rise for an additional 30 minutes.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. In a small mixing bowl, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.
