Super Bowl Nachos

Nachos were invented by Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Anaya in 1943 in Mexico. He created the dish by combining tortilla chips, cheese, and jalapeno peppers as a quick snack for a group of hungry customers.
This is vegetarian and high protein recipe. Dish can be prepared in 30 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 17.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

In a separate bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, black beans, salt, ground black pepper, cumin, paprika, and garlic powder.

Spread the tortilla chips on a baking sheet. Top with the beef and bean mixture, followed by the cheddar cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Meanwhile, prepare the toppings. Dice the tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeno peppers. Chop the cilantro. Cut the lime into wedges.

Remove the nachos from the oven and top with the diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeno peppers, and cilantro.

Serve the nachos with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and lime wedges.
