  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed berries, lemon juice, lemon zest, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Mix well and set aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Trim the edges and poke holes in the bottom with a fork.
  4. Pour the berry mixture into the pie crust. Dot the top with small pieces of unsalted butter.
  5. Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut it into strips. Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg yolk and milk. Brush the mixture over the lattice crust.
  7. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
