  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, pecans, and butter until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle the sugar crunch mixture over the muffins.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
