  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the vanilla extract and egg until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Divide the cookie dough into 24 portions and roll each portion into a ball.
  7. Place the cookie dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Freeze the cookie dough balls for 1 hour.
  9. Once frozen, transfer the cookie dough balls to an airtight container or resealable plastic bag.
  10. Store the cookie dough in the freezer for up to 3 months.
