Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, sugar, molasses, eggs, and fresh ginger.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ground ginger, cloves, and nutmeg.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with water, until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the gingerbread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cool, dust with powdered sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon.
