  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Slice and serve.
