  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing well after each addition. Fold in the raisins and chopped walnuts.
  5. Scoop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Use the back of a spoon to slightly flatten each cookie.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
