Spiced Honey Pretzels

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt. Add warm water and honey. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a long rope and shape it into a pretzel.

In a small bowl, combine the vegetable oil, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Brush the pretzels with the spiced oil mixture.

Place the pretzels on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Remove the pretzels from the oven and brush them with melted butter. Sprinkle with granulated sugar.
