Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking dish with parchment paper.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and stir until well combined.

Sift in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.

Fold in the walnuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Allow the brownies to cool in the baking dish for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Cut into squares and serve.
