Serious Smores Bars
S’mores are a popular campfire treat in the United States and Canada, traditionally made by sandwiching a roasted marshmallow and a piece of chocolate between two graham crackers.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 65 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Crush the graham crackers into crumbs.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar.

Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Press half of the mixture into a greased baking dish.

Sprinkle the mini marshmallows evenly over the crust.

Crumble the remaining graham cracker mixture over the marshmallows.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow the bars to cool for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
