In a large bowl, mix rice cereal and salt.

In a saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.

Pour the peanut butter mixture over the rice cereal and stir until well coated.

Press the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch pan.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips together in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal mixture and spread evenly.
