Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.

Stir in the cooked egg noodles and sour cream, and cook until heated through.

Season with dill, salt, and black pepper, and mix well.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
