  1. Boil and mash the potatoes. In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onion, ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  2. Add peas, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Add mashed potatoes to the pan and mix everything together. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix all-purpose flour and water to make a smooth batter.
  5. Take a portion of the potato mixture and shape it into a small cake. Dip the cake in the flour batter and coat it with bread crumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and fry the samosa cakes until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
