Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a square baking dish.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the espresso powder, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and stir until well combined.

In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
