  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an iron skillet.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the sugar and stir until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla extract. Add the egg mixture to the butter-sugar mixture and mix well.
  4. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the greased skillet. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce on top. Repeat with the remaining batter and caramel sauce.
  6. Use a knife to swirl the caramel sauce into the batter.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle sea salt flakes on top.
  9. Allow the brownies to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
