  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until well combined. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. Then, while still warm, gently roll the cookies in powdered sugar until coated.
