  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt. Cut in the butter and cream cheese until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and shape each part into a disk. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each dough disk into a circle. Spread jam or preserves on each circle, leaving a small border. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and cinnamon.
  5. Cut each circle into 8 wedges. Roll up each wedge, starting from the wide end. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
