Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

Wash and scrub the batatas, then cut them into wedges.

In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, lime juice, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper.

Place the batata wedges on a baking sheet and spread the lime-cumin butter mixture over them.

Roast in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the batatas are tender and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with fresh cilantro before serving.
