In a mixing bowl, combine the rhubarb, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and vanilla extract. Toss until well-coated. Set aside.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it starts to turn golden brown and emit a nutty aroma. Remove from heat.

In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, light brown sugar, and browned butter. Mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Roll out the pie crust and place it in a tart pan. Pour the rhubarb mixture into the crust.
