  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the chai tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and set aside to cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork. Add the cooled chai-infused butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
