Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes
Pumpkin spice cupcakes are a popular treat during the fall season, especially around Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.

In a separate large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.

Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Stir in the pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the cupcakes cool in the pan for 5 minutes.

Transfer the cupcakes to a wire rack and let them cool completely.

Frost the cupcakes with your favorite frosting and sprinkle with additional pumpkin pie spice, if desired.
